DAM for Content Elements | – | dam_ttcontent |
A Digital Asset Management System (DAM) system is a tool to handle digital content like images, text files and virtually any other data format. These media files can be attributed with meta information. Such information can describe the content (description, keywords, location), provide technical data (image size) or copyright information for example. All these information can be used to handle, find and categorize the media files.
This extension provides some functionality for the default content elements (tt_content). While generally new content elements should be developed to support the DAM features, this extension can help to use a few features of DAM with the default content elements.

DAM Frontend | – | dam_frontend |
This extension is providing downloads of files stored in the DAM via the frontend. The user is able to select his downloads very comfortable thru a category tree. Also the extension is delivering the files by a "pushfile.php", so that fileadmin folder can be secured by a .htaccess file.
A second plugin ("DAM Frontend Filelist") is displaying a list of files (selected manually by a backend user).
This extension should used by people who have the need of store a lot of files in the DAM and want to make them downloadable. Also all files will be displayed / downloaded of the originally dam files. So no files will be copied in the media/upload folder.

Date selector library | – | rlmp_dateselectlib |
This is a TYPO3 library providing a DHTML date selector / calendar. It may be attached to an input field and will be shown after clicking a button. Everything is nicely configurable and the design may be changed by simply modifiying the stylesheet.
Being a libray means that you can only use it by writing a PHP based extension yourself. You won't be able to use it from TYPO3 directly. However I might provide an integration to the FORM cObject in the future in a separate extension.
The date selector library supports TYPO3's translation mechanism and supports any date format.
